Tractor / Trailer Operator Program
(Class A Commercial Drivers License)
This program is a four-week program. Field and classroom instruction total 160 hours. Classroom training covers such subjects as D.O.T. Rules & Regulations, log books, defensive driving and job search techniques (completing employment applications, grooming and proper attitude and behavior during job interviews). Field training consists of driving in established areas, which include a combination of highway, city and heavy traffic driving with emphasis on defensive driving techniques. Backing, safety and emergency procedures and also practiced extensively. DMV skills practicing, various cargo handling and reporting, trip planning and weigh stations procedures are also included.
Once the course has been successfully completed, graduate will receive a diploma.

Refresher Courses
Western Truck School offers refresher courses. An evaluation will be conducted, at which time we will custom tailor a program that will best meet your specific professional needs.
Once the course has been successfully completed, graduate will receive a certificate of completion.

CDL Testing
Western Truck School is an authorized Third Party Tester through the state of Arizona Motor Vehicle Division and the State of Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. CDL Testing is conducted by appointment only. |
